KSpace

The brief for Kspace was to create a 30 minute digital ‘game play’. However it was also important for the experience to be an informative, multi faceted experience which incorporated stories from the NMA and suitable for children and adults.
The objectives for the interior space was to create a journey, begining with an anticipatory experience, which followed through to a creative ‘avatar design’ experience. Once the group finishes this stage they transition to an immersive team gaming space. The cool down area ends the experience with a recap of the game play and an opportunity for the teams to compare results.
The space is colourful, immersive and dynamic which incorporates technologies not used before in the museum environment. Our Design Director, Maria was the exhibition and principal spatial designer, responsible for design and documentation as well as managed the construction phase of the project. Designed in collaboration with Spinifex Group digital and animation designers.
