Both worlds share a language of base (bass), mid, and top notes, harmonies, and accords (chords) with each composition crafted to evoke emotion, memory, and meaning. Using cutting-edge sensory technology, each fragrance is paired with bespoke soundscapes that reflect its character and complexity. The result is an immersive symphony of the senses, where the auditory and olfactory are intertwined, intensifying one another. The Diriyah Majlis of Scent & Sound is an evocative journey through the olfactory heritage of Saudi Arabia where perfume is more than adornment. It is ritual, memory, and a powerful expression of identity.
Visitors will explore the natural ingredients, sacred practices, and storytelling traditions that have made the Kingdom a global epicentre of scent. At the heart of the installation lies the Perfumer’s Lab, a space where the past meets the future. Guests can create their own scent guided by Saudi perfumers and AI-powered scent tools discovering the Kingdom’s modern perfume renaissance, where ancient oils are reimagined through contemporary techniques.
