Darling Park Experience

Lvl 22, Tower 2, Darling Park

Sydney, Australia

This multi-sensorial experience tells the story of Darling Park’s unique harbourside precinct, an architectural environment and workplace of the future set out by architects Henning Larsen and Architectus. This space, built at the iconic Sydney location, is a demonstration of the quality of design and innovation Darling Park and its Lighthouse tower will bring to Australia. The translucent, light-filled entry represents the incredible amenity and unprecedented green space led by the placemaking of concept ‘Human Nature’.
Noongar Six Seasons
Influenced by landscape architects McGregor Coxall concept for the vast green spaces, which are inspired by the indigenous ‘Noongar’ - Six Seasons, developed in collaboration with indigenous consultants, our creative is led by the Birak, Bunuru, Djeran, Makuru, Djilba, Kambarang seasons. As creative director for this project whilst at Frost*collective our immersive entry experience uses the Noongar and aspects of nature to effect people coming into the space putting them immediately at ease and leaving a lasting impression.
Multisensory technology
Using a multisensory soundscape, colour, digital LED, movement and illumination we created a space that transports and enhances mood. The natural sounds of the nearby deep-water evoke the surrounding harbourside location. The soft gradient colours represent the Darling Park brand and the colours associated with the six seasons. As visitors move from the cool colours of winter to the fresh colours of spring and finally the warm glow of summer to autumn these coloured areas trigger soundscapes directly related to the seasons and the natural aspects of the development. These audio elements immersing visitors in the tranquillity of coastal and bushland locations.
